It is Okay to be not Okay


Have you ever feel lonely? Have you ever cry for no reason? Have you ever thought your existence is useless? Perhaps all of us ever feel that ways. It is one of the human nature tk have feeling; happy, sad, scare, annoy, suprised, angry etc.

We all see happy as a positive feeling while sad as the opposite. We try our best to not feel sad. We want to feel happy in all things that happen in our life. Even do I! What the point to be sad? Don’t we think it is just a negative feeling that always make us down. Feel of disappointed, discourage and decrease our self-esteem.

Sometimes, things seem chaotic. We've had a lot to deal with. We had tried and we still trying our best in our life. Everyone has to work through their own struggles, and things sometimes don't turn out the way we want them to. 

Some of us forced down our feelings as we were aware that somehow individuals disapproved of us. We're letting down all our emotions, but that didn't mean they're gone. We just delayed our emotion and latent it inside of ourselves. Noted that, it is nothing wrong when we express our emotion. It is okay to be sad, lonely, angry, it is okay to be not okay. Yes, it is suck. It is a painful thing. It is hurt, but you're going to be greater because of the pain. Let the feeling of sadness conquer our heart. Let the tears wet our face. Do not feel fear to express the sadness. Do not pretend like we are strong enough to face anything that happen in our life, it is exhausting

Many see sadness as something to be addressed or substituted with a better emotion. Sometimes we have to work within our feelings rather than attempting to prevent them. For having these little emotions, it does not mean we are weak or wrong or damaged, it makes us human. Instead, by enabling us to feel those emotions, it strengthens us, enables us to be truthful about our surroundings and appreciates our own well-being.

Just close our eyes, breathe and let those feelings wash us over. We will be a better person for admitting of who we are, honest with our selves, with our own feelings. Don't let others control us, control how we should react or feel. We have the power to feel and act in a way that we want to. We know more about ourselves

Having all those negative emotions will balance our emotion. No one expext us to be happy all the time. We are human, we have feeling. If you are feeling sad, just admit it, express it. That feeling somehow comfort ourselves. Take care of ourselves the best way we know how.

  1. I heard a saying somewhere that sounds like we should embrace all our emotions regardless it's happy, sad, positive or negative because they're the things that remind us that we are alive. I really love that quote :)
