Best Place to Visit in Ipoh (Part 2)

Assalamualaikum & hi,

In this post I would like to share part 2 of previous blog since Ipoh has lot of interesting places, therefore I wanted to split it into two parts. Kalau combine in one post rasanya a bit too long. Nanti boring pula nak membaca and even for me to write, agak panjang dan bosan juga hehehe. Let me just continue share another best places in Ipoh. Jom!

Gua Kek Look Tong

Ticket : Free

Operation Hour : 8.00am - 4.30pm

This place resemble cave temple of 12 acres with Buddha sculptures & garden. Ada patung dan lilin with reka bentuk gua yang semula jadi. Next, lepas keluar dari gua tu from the opposite side, korang akan nampak suasana tasik. The lake is nice and please be aware that area ni banyak monyet. Macam dekat Batu Caves. Tapi monyet dekat sini takdelah liar sangat.

At here, you can do some activities like cycling or paddling. Paddling (I am unsure the right term to use- dia macam kita kayuh boat tu, bukan paddling yang guna paddle tu) dekat sini ada boat untuk 2 orang dan 4 orang for family. The ticket if I am not mistaken around rm20 untuk yang 2 orang.

This was my first time naik boat macam ni. Mula-mula saya dengan Izz agak kekok nak control the boat. Lepas 5-10 minit, dah okay. Tak susah sangat pun. And area untuk korang bawa boat tu tak jauh sangat, so tak penat lah nak ulang alik. Naik boat sambil tengok gua memang best. Kitorang tak naik basikal since that day was really hot, naik basikal was not the best activity to do hehehe. But, I suggest you to take a bike to explore more scenic view of the place.

Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village

Ticket : RM12 per person

Operation Hour : 9.30am - 5.00pm (Daily except on Sunday)

Kalau nak vibe aesthetic dan Instagrammable boleh datang dekat sini. This place exposed old culture of Chinese, Malays and Indians.

Rumah kayu atas air. In every house have their own unique interior design.

What it looks like from the rumah air. Betul-betul menghadap tasik. Dalam tasik pun ada ikan dan kura-kura.

Interior rumah Cina

Interior rumah Melayu.
I would say my outfit really match this old vibe.
* Side note: I went to my friend's kenduri before, that was why pakai baju begitu hehehe. Kalau takde event, tidaklah tuan hamba nak pakai baju sebegini rupa nak berjalan-jalan ^.^

Ada juga kereta lama.

Kawasan dia sangat-sangat besar ye. Korang kena explore sampai ke kawasan atas bukit. Memang agak penat sebab kena mendaki tapi sepanjang otw nak naik, ada banyak tempat yang cantik-cantik ye. Boleh rehat sekejap sambil tangkap gambar lagi.

The road along the way nak sampai atas bukit. Sepanjang jalan ada area "kedai-kedai" yang very old style. Sangat nostalgia.
One of the stall. This one I think bakso stall kot :D

Dekat sini juga boleh cycling, ada vibe macam naik beca zaman dulu-dulu. Cycling ni free je cuma basikal dia agak limited. You guys can cycling around the lake. Tak boleh naik sampai bukit, pancit nanti hehehe. That’s why I told you earlier, the price we paid for RM12 is really worth it. Trust me, banyak lagi tempat yang menarik dekat Qing Xin Ling Culture Village, cuma tak mampu saya nak letak semua dalam post ni. You guys should go and experience it yourself :)

Still passenger princess walaupun naik beca ye.

Concubine Lane (Platf9rm Coffee & Brew Cafe)

Operation Hour : 11.00am - 6.30pm

Concubine lane ni memang dah famous tempatnya. Dekat sini ada jual macam-macam souvenirs. This post I would like to write specifically about this one cafe with Harry Potter's vibe. Where's my potterhead?! You guys should come here! This cafe memang menarik kalau nak berangan macam dalam movie Harry Potter. Diorang ada photobooth juga untuk korang nak ambil gambar kenang-kenangan.

Indulgence chocolate cake & matcha coffee (?!) - Really lupa nama makanan yang saya order.

When I was here, I tried their cake and coffee. Tapi minta maaf banyak-banyak sebab saya dah lupa nama menu ni. Rasanya sedap with standard cafe's price. I was more excited to see their interior design compared to their food. I ordered the food hanya sebagai cukup syarat nak ambil gambar kat kedai je. Poor me huhuhu...

The unmagical witch :P hehehehe

I think my post here already come to the end. Not many places that I went in Ipoh and it took time for me to remember and tried to put in together in this two posts. Dekat Ipoh ni lagi banyak tempat-tempat menarik yang saya tak kesampaian lagi nak pergi. InsyaAllah one day I will explore more this beautiful place of Perak. Until we met again...
